Launched in 2002, the TeenNick channel is a part of Nickelodeon with programs geared towards their teenager viewership. Nick Jr. offers a wide variety of family-friendly programming to children ages 2 – 6 years old. Since that is a little too young for Facebook, Nick Jr. wanted to set up a Facebook app thought would engage parents of these children and clue them into the programming available on the channel.
